Wacom Drawing Tablet- First drawing

My friend Steve Casper of http://tonicdesigngroup.com/ gave me this sweet drawing tablet as a bonus from the last job we worked on. Drawing with a mouse feels like drawing with a boxing glove on so having this digital tablet feels like Christmas morning. This sketch is testing brushes and pen pressure.

Mountain Pose

It’s an image of me in mountain pose or “Pranamasana”. I’m on the edge of a cliff so that I’m aware of my death as an adviser to live to the fullest... In gratitude. Although my toes are gripping the edge I am standing there without fear. Perhaps my toes resemble a diver about to take a leap.... into my dreams and hopes. The rings centered around the hands (in prayer) and heart represent the present moment and visually create a protective bubble around me. My gaze is out and forward to show that I’m looking ahead and open to new ideas.
